If so, you lucked out doubly on this deal. It also means that you could've reached deeper into your pocket when you purchased your SLC and bought a 10x42 SV EL instead. Not much difference in edge performance despite the lack of field flatteners, but ergonomically I prefer the open bridge design, although the open hinge (high-bar H) design of the SLC is also fairly comfortable to hold, just not as comfortable as the EL. I would still chose the SLC because of the RB issue with the SV EL. Post a photo when you can, I'd like to see how the armor held up. Brock</blockquote>
