Message: <blockquote data-quote="justabirdwatcher" data-source="post: 3274537" data-attributes="member: 128908">I know some who will consider this comment heresy, and I may eat my own words someday, but dare I say I actually PREFER the image produced by the Nikon LX-L to that of the Swaro SLC ?!?  After bopping around for several days now with both pair in all kinds of light from near to far subjects, the Nikon's image just looks more "believable" to me.  That's the best way I can describe it.  To my eyes, they are both equally sharp.  Absolutely pin sharp.  But the colors of the Nikon seem more realistic and the contrast seems just a little better.  Every time I look through the SLC's - as great as they are - I want to look up again and see if the actual color of what I'm looking at is in fact the same as I see through the binocs.There is no question they are just oh-so-slightly brighter than the Nikons.  But day in and day out, I might just find myself reaching for the LX-L's instead of the SLC's simply because of the color fidelity.</blockquote>
