One of those was being told by a Nikon rep to send my bins to Nikon's repair department for the eyecups, even though the repair department would not tell me if they had any on hand to do the job.I identified Myron Murakami in an earlier post because he was the only person in the entire corporation who took an interest in the issue and brought it to the attention of manangement. The bottom line is that the company is dealing with the matter properly.I advise everybody who owns an SE to get backup eyecups when they become available, because Nikon likely will not supply them indefinitely. And for those who wonder, the eyecups for SE 8x32 and 10x42 are the same. I believe those for the 12X are also the same, but I could be mistaken. Nikon's parts department could advise on that.</blockquote>
