Same material, different colour pigments.In the case of the SF, it could be the same material but the black ones feels different. Maybe same material but different structured, I do not know but the feel is different.In your respond you are saying that Zeiss reps told you that the black armouring is not a replacement because of the "grey issue".That is what they told me also, but nowhere the "danger" of black discolouriation popped up. AFAIK this is a non issue.The black version surfaced because lot of potential buyers asked for it. Black and (the right colour) green are popular. As it turned out, grey is not.That's why I wondered how a Zeiss rep could combine two seperate issues.  The first SF batch suffered from issues, but the (grey) batches after that don't. Halfway 2015 'till now I had no complaints whatsoever about sold SF's.One way or the other...... time will tell!!Jan</blockquote>
