When I got a pair of good binoculars it was a real revelation though, I can see so much more that I couldn't through the camera. I still take a lot of photographs of birds but I more often leave the camera and just watch the birds with my binoculars - I'd agree, it's more enjoyable, certainly much more relaxing!That said, it's a great feeling when you manage to get a good shot of a bird. Nothing quite like seeing a special bird and recording it.
