[Nomadic adventurer]

Hello folks - we are now long term travellers after raising three sons and spending many decades working.

Our birding passion kicked in our 20s when we travelled around Australia, and particularly spending time with the waders in Broome.

We are currently based in Japan for 2025, with a trip to Jeju Island in South Korea planned for May.

We recently upgraded our binoculars, from our trusty Bausch and Lomb Elites purchased in the mid 1990s to a pair of Leicas - many thanks to contributors on this site for their knowledge - loving our Leicas.

Looking forward to meeting fellow birders out there on the road.
