Novoflex with EOS 300D (1 Viewer)

Does anyone have experience with using a Novoflex tele (400 mm) in combination with a Canon EOS 300D (or Digital Rebel). The problem I have is that I do not find a suitable cable release to connect the camera with the Novoflex Focus Grip. Anybody any ideas?
