Took these photos at location near Oakland. I am thinking Bird-A is a Whimbrel and Bird-C juvenile Red Tailed Hawk. Not sure about Bird-B.
Really appreciate help with ID. Thanks.

Whimbrel are noticeably smaller than Long-billed Curlew. They are pretty brown, they don't have a faint orange colored wash like long-billed. Whimbrel also have a strong crown pattern than Curlew.

also LB Curlew, the curve in the bill is further toward the bill tip, whereas Whimbrel have more symmetrical bills. More noticeable in some individual LB Curlews, this one is not one of the more dramatic ones, but the characteristic is still helpful in my opinion.
