Found these online here in China and was wondering what you guys think/know about them. Maybe still available for about 130usd. Seller provides close to no info.

Hi diverdude1,

This was one of three DCF models offered by Nikon in 7x26, 9x30 and 12x36. The first two were introduced in 1976 and the 12x36 followed in 1979. They were offered until the late 1980’s.

They all had the same body, prisms and eyepieces and differed in the objectives, as can be seen in a catalogue image. While they were well built, they suffered from the optical limitations of the time, especially in relation to coatings. In particular they lack phase-coating, so the image will not be sharp, especially at 12x.
