I am still very grateful to cwchan for sharing his pictures in this thread http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=280076on the Oly 25mm f1.8. I posted some initial pictures in that thread. Since than it has been my standard lens for digiscoping with Panasonic Lumix G3, Swarovski DCA on 25 - 50x eyepiece. It appeared to be a very versatile lens. Three examples attached: 1: Chiffchaff at close range i.e. approximately 5m. Eyepiece at 25x; AF I am quite sure that I would never been have been able to digiscope this agile little creature with the Lumux 20mm. 2: Cattle Egret at about 30m. Eyepiece at 25x; AF 3: A group of Black heade gulls (one colour banded) between 80 - 100m. AF; Eyepiece cranked up to 50x and cropped heavily in post processing. A lot of detail is lost of course, but the image is still sharp enough for documenting the colour code of the ring. Happy birding, Sjerp
