And a Black Throat flew in for about 15 minutes before being flushed by a kayak. Another Crestie near Gelnmore and a heart stopping stoat hunting along the fenceline (hoped for pine martin!).Dawn in undisclosed forest. Three female Capers gritting on the road showing down to 8 feet! Went to Loch G and there were another three male Capers and another female - which was flushed by a buzzard from a tree. Two Ospreys. Plenty of Goldeneye on Loch GartenTwo more Cresties (poss 4) at Loch Malichi walk and heard some more Crossers. Headed to Loch an Aileen and Inverduie and draw blanks at both.Decide to go mountain climbing. Ring Ouzel and Wheatear on ascent. Raven feeding on dead mountain Hare. Then I sat for four hours with ten Ptarmigan retching away and witnessed mating behaviour. I really felt like part of their little flock - a very intimate experience. Immense! Got some shots too :t:Down mountain plenty of mipits. Left at 5PM had another Osprey with a trout over the River Garry from A90.Not a bad day :t:</blockquote>
