So next time you're talking to friends and say " Did you see that story in the paper the other day, wasn't it wonderful/horrible/tragic/hilarious/disgusting", stop and think - just how accurate was it?Incidentally, a previous "Mail" cock-up story (the leucistic Chaffinch/Snow Bunting story from a couple of weeks back) turned up in that highly respected organ "Private Eye".
