Yeah I'm really Mystic Meg. My opinion is based on the evidence before me and my similar experience over the years with similar bin problems and the overwhelming satisfactory outcomes that have resulted when I co-operated with the seller. You will find in life that sometimes you may have to loose a little along the way to win in the end. You clearly declined that opportunity. You want to run around in circles and beat the hell out of bushes but you won't say plainly and flat out what it is you actually want as I suspect nothing would be acceptable to you or any binocular ever be satisfactory. You basically come across as an impossible customer and if I was in business not a customer I would relish. My last bin, RSPB 8x20, you can read the thread was a great outcome and strangley enough Niki at Viking Optical Centre offered to pay the return postage on the initial faulty bin they sent me and I told them not to worry about it that it was the binocular that was my main concern because I knew I liked it. So, what happens. I'm nice to them pay the £5 post and I get a super replacement and they throw in a nice cleaning cloth and cleaning pen also and I'm very happy but I suppose this seems all wrong to you and it's somebody else's fault or they don't understand your predicament or whatever. I'm speaking for the seller here because I'm sure they wouldn't be allowed to put it in blunt terms. No-one I'm sure on here likes to see a bad outcome but you seem to be the obstacle. You wanted advice on here so there, you got it. That's £219 for my time please plus £16 stress damages;)
