I've seen the above scope in a second hand shop and want to know if it's worth consideration in 2025?,it looks the same as the one in pic below,

I think it's depending to the eyepiece wich is with.
I have a regular model with th original 22x eyepiece and the performance are,
Ok, the CA is not important as my eyes can see, the mechanism very good et the construction excellent.
I've just bought an hdf 40809 and still waiting it from UK... I hope it will be better.

Depending to the price, obviously... How much is your second hand ?

If it is in a shop, you can just test it, ( maybe bringing an other scope if you already have one and compare)

It comes with hr 30xw eyepiece,they are asking £195 for scope

I have the same scope, but with the hdf zoom. They are remarkably good for their age.
