Are these Oriental Skylarks? At Hesaraghatta Lake, Bangalore, India last week. There were five of them together. Thanks!

Yes. Interesting to note the 2nd individual (3) is in active wing moult at this time; post nuptial moult is in late summer (Shirihai & Svensson). Since they breed all year round in the subcontinent I presume this will be a bird fledged in the early part of last year. You won't find many images of larks in active wing moult as they tend to sit very tight and become very illusive.
