Seeing as how my first thought was Ring-Necked Duck, I may not be of much use...that was before I realized the birds are facing to the RIGHT of the photo. Or is that just a photographic artifact? ;) Of all the suggestions so far, Clark's Nutcracker does seem the most likely. The coloration and range mostly matches up with what I'm seeing. However, in the photo the white half of all of the birds bodies are facing to the right, and the white wing patches are on the opposite side of the wing (from the white half of the body). If they were truly Clark's Nutcrackers, the white tail and wing patches would be on the same side of the wing, which is not the case in this photo. Or am I just adding to the confusion? :brains: I'd call this one unidentifiable.
