Yes - seems to be coming up OK now and even with sound, so maybe they were working on it before. Still the loud buzz but much better than silent - good clear chaffinch just now. Thanks to Loch Garten team and techies for getting this back.
It is indeed a horrible day - first days rain here in ages too, but weather for the ospreys has been much better than spring 2007 which was dismal.

Hi Folks,

I just got a quick glimpse of "Oscar" the biggest chick who peeped out from under E J's left front but was quickly covered up by her so no picture but at least one has survived the rain and I expect looking for food.

It's good to have the sound back the area seems full of birds just now and I haven't got the buzz at the moment anyway.

Fish delivered about 5 minutes ago - water on lens but two little heads bobbing about asking for food. One chick sitting in half eggshell, good way to keep dry!

Yet another feeding time - both looking good and alert, and getting a share of the fish OK.

The RSPB have just updated the blog. They noticed the new chick when EJ went on the exercise flight just after 10.30am.

Yes - it's been trying hard though with little success. Just saw EJ has started to go over the other 2 heads at last, as if she had finally spotted it.

It didn't get much but it had some, that was a large meal for the other two and it wasn't a small fish.

Hi Girls,

It is good to know the chicks are still there and getting fed, whenever I can get onto the site (it is so busy) I get a beautiful view of EJ's back and tail I haven't yet seen all 3 chicks she is keeping them all to herself I was sure, hopefully I will have better luck at the weekend and she might turn to face the camera and stand up.

I think they're hungry. I haven't seen OVS bring a fish this morning. Has anyone else? EJ keeps getting up and looking about as though she is looking for him. She also keeps stretching one wing - the right one. Don't know why!

I've had video on in the background for 2-3 hours and haven't seen any feeding - agree they all look ready for some food now. Where is OVS - looks like good fishing weather up there?

I think we have a beautiful day here today. It is rather worrying if he can't keep up with the demand of three hungry youngsters and an even hungrier Mrs. C'mon. Bring a fish!!
