Hi all, I would also like to start by making an apology for the late reply. Thanks for your thoughts on our itinerary David, the last thing we want to do is "tick & run". As you say Morocco is a wonderful place, I was last there 29 years ago! & had considerably more time to do the place (5 weeks), Bald Ibis were still breeding at Aoulouz then but my 3 friends on this trip have never been before & were hoping to squeeze them in. Perhaps we will have to rethink. Peter, if we were to take the Draa route can we still hope to hit areas for Larks & Wheatears comparable to the Tagdilt track ? I did`nt get T.B.Lark on my`79` trip & this is one of my target species, also, what about Desert & Scrub Warblers & Egyptian Nightjar etc. Obviously you do this route on a fairly regular basis & know the stops so a few pointers would be much appreciated. The beauty of the route to Er-rachidia is that it is regularly used & there are stake outs for a lot of good species (Mourning Wheatear etc) on the internet. As you know one could potentially spend a lot of time looking in areas that dont support too many birds whilst a few kms up the road it could be a different story. Cheers for now, Rob.
