Outstanding service from Swarovski SONA (1 Viewer)

I sent in a pair of 7x42 SLC dated 1992 for a cleaning of lenses/prisms and fix a tight focus wheel. The binoculars were in otherwise excellent to mint condition but lenses or prisms were a little spotty inside. When they received them I was notified they would clean them for free, which I wasn't expecting given they were outside of the normal warranty range. Exactly 9 weeks later I get them back; they completely overhauled them free of charge! All new lenses, prisms, eyecups, covering/housing, etc. The view is far improved from when I sent them in. I'm wondering if they replaced lenses/prisms with the latest NEU version of the 7x42? Regardless, I'm thoroughly impressed by Swarovski/SONA service out of Cranston RI. They really took care of me. Not only that, when I got them back I remembered I needed lens caps for them. I priced some on line that would cost me $40+ for a set of objective caps. I asked how much they'd cost from SONA--they just sent me an invoice and shipped me a free set. Can't say enough good about SONA!

Amen! In my humble opinion, Swarovski has the best service dept. in the known universe.

I'm going to send in my 10x42 SLC's, as for some reason they are out of collimation. I see double vision no matter what I do. I haven't sent anything to Swaro USA in a while, so what is the process...give them a call first, go online to get an RMA, or what? Thanks.

I recently did it online. Took a solid 8 weeks to get back. Came back better than new.
