owls in the Galapagos (1 Viewer)

Hello there! I am planning an owling trip to Ecuador later this year. I am very interested in seeing the island forms of barn and short-eared owls on the Galapagos. If you can recommend a local guide or birder who can help me, or have suggestions of places to look that would be very much appreciated. I won't be photographing the owls, and will be careful not to disturb them. Thank you in advance for any help. Cheers Iain

Short-eared owl I think is relatively easy. For example in Genovesa island, the trail from prince Philip's steps leads to an area with breeding storm petrels. We saw them in that area in the day hunting for those storm petrels. We additionally had a relatively random observation of one in Floreana.

I was told that the barn owl was found around Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz island but did not see one. I do not have an address for any guides.
