Hello

I'm an english birder with family near Lützelflüh (administrative district of Emmental in the canton of Bern).

I am very interested in the areas were i'm most likely to see different species of owl especially Bubo bubo Aegolius funereus and Glaucidium passerinum

I am also interested in some good areas for other "non british" swiss native birds in the area.

Many thanks in advance

Mark

I see you got no answer on here, and although I can't help you with specific advice, have you registered with ornitho.ch?

It's a mine of information, if you take the time to work out how to get it, and as a frequent business visitor to Switzerland, I always check out recent sightings in the area I'm visiting for a week before I travel there. You can search by species, location, canton, date, etc., so it's quite a useful resource.
