Here are some Pacific shorebirds along California, USA. The pictures were taken in October. Thanks!

1. Black Oystercatcher?
2. Which gull is this? And is it possible to ID the small bird in bottom right corner?

The gulls are glaucous -winged, or hybrid glaucous-winged X western. You’re not going to be able to tell which without better views. Though # 3 looks to have dark wingtips, which indicated hybrid.

Where in California was this? Some areas have high concentration of Olympic hybrids. The best thing to look for his wing color. A GWGU should have wingtips that match the color of the mantle, or close to it.Olympic hybrids will have darker wing tips. Some areas actually have a higher chance of herring- glaucus hybrids. The gene pool can get very messy in gulls on the West Coast. It’s hard to say for certain with these photos.
