I agree with a lot of what lulubelle is saying here about the Pajaro Grande. I do like the bag. It is well constructed of cordura-like nylon fabric but it is not padded. Functionally it could be better. The pocket layout is not the best.

The large main compartment works well. Fits the large Sibleys plus another smaller guide. Full sized bins fit fine in this compartment.
The large front pocket with it's side-opening zipper is OK but I find I rarely use it. It will fit a full-sized set of roof bins (my Zeiss 8x42 FLs fit in fine) but it is not that convenient for often accessed items like your bins.
The small bellowed front pocket can hold smaller items but is a bit too small for a wallet or cell phone or sunglasses, etc.
The side bellowed pocket is ideal for a water bottle, GPS, cell-phone, etc. Even you sunglasses. But there is only one of them.
The small pocket on the other side works for a pen & reading glasses but not much more. A second bellowed pocket here would make sense.
Lastly is the zipper pocket in the flap. Really just usable for flat things like a wallet although you could keep keys and the like in there if you want.
I have typically just used the shoulder strap for this bag but may try using a waist belt and the belt loop on the back of the bag. Like lulubelle say, we're always compromising it seems...on bags, guides, bins, etc. So, while this is not the optimum bag it is quite good and functional and should meet most of everyone's needs.
