Here are two shots I took this morning with the LX3 on the Apex 90mm with 50X eyepiece.  Both are from about 15m, with camera set to 60mm (max zoom). Both are uncropped. With no room to back up, I couldn't avoid the head-and-shoulders of the Green Heron.  Vignetting precludes zooming wider with the camera. One nice thing about the Apex 90mm Maksutov is that (like your Questar) it is essentially free of aberration -- no color fringing. The bokeh is not good with this setup. Out of focus lines are doubled. This may be caused by the 45˚ erecting diagonal of the scope.</blockquote>
