A great review with lots of information, appreciate the time it took to write it up. The amount of information on BF is amazing, the depth of knowledge members here possess is staggering. As an avid forum member of many complicated/detailed/specific hobbies, we as enthusiasts immerse ourselves in the joy of the genre...as well as forming hard & defined lines in our brand loyalties or personal likes/dislikes, of given technology and ergonomics...it happens from wrist watches - knives - archery - binoculars - cameras - backpacking. As hardcore enthusiasts we gain knowledge & experience with time and trial/error. At the end of the day, there is no "right or wrong"...no "best" for everyone, the "best" is whats fits your situation, needs and budget....in any hobby. There is always 1 "rebel" who stands out in the forum, one who is willing to call it as he sees it,,,one that is vilified for his actions or words, yet his honesty can't be ignored...for his opinion is as valid as any others. Insults aren't necessary of course, but sparring in a PC manner is healthy...and can lead to intelligent debate and information. It's common form that alliances are formed, and cliques rally only to pile on,,,hoping to squash the other. We can never agree %100, but still respect each others opinion and knowledge. I have no horse in this race, no win/place/show...but remember when the horses race on a muddy track, even the spectators are splattered with sludge and manure time to time. The matter of importance is the harmony of the forum, and the growth of the new membership...the continued warm feel of the community. Needless bantering and insults, only drive new members out...not quite sure how to get their foot in the door. I'm a noobie here on BF, and appreciate all of the help and advice offered by members...thank you 1 and all.
