Hi all.
Temporarily in Peebles.
What's about and where?

I am hoping to bag a kingfisher while here, any reliable sites on the tweed/along the cut?
Likewise, is the B road north from Innerleithen still the best place for Blscl Grouse? Presumably in the Moorfoot SSSI/SAC area?

Two species my fellow traveller has never seen and I think would likely greatly enjoy.

Thanks in advance and happy whatever you potentially celebrate at this time of year! :)

The SOC free app is a good place to start.

Thanks.
It doesn't include any of the specific locations I asked about. (Although I imagine it may be useful in future anyway, as before today I didn't realise one does not require an account to use - so had never bothered before)

Perhaps it would have been preferred to revive a thread last posted within in 2013, where specific locations were already discussed?
