In this post I am uploading two images of two birds I thought at the time were Western Sandpipers. However, the second of them seems to have a bill that is too long?

The first looks good for juv Western Sand to me, but the 2nd is a Stilt Sand (note the very straight tip-kinked bill, and leg colour, and length of the tibia btw).
 
Thank you, that makes more sense. The water must have been deeper than I imagined to accommodate those long legs.
