On all occassions there has been no bones skull or anything other than once when we found a dove with just a whole in it near the shoulder towards the front. I have been led to believe this was a Sparrowhawk, as there has been one sitting in the tree if this is the case does it eat the whole bird that it has killed including all the bones and skull  ?? because as I say there is nothing but big pile of feathers.  Next time I will check feathers to see if they have been plucked or bitten off.If the feathers have been plucked out will they be rounded at the roots and how would they look if this is the work of a cat  ??</blockquote>
