Just getting into the habit of listkeeping:-
1. Robin (Erithacus Rubecula)
2. Carrion Crow (Corvus Corone)
3. Blackbird (Turdus Merula)
4. Magpie (Pica Pica)
5. Quail (Coturnix coturnix) - never seen one of these before!
6. House Sparrow (Passer domesticus)
7. Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes)
8. Coal Tit (Parus ater)
9. Great Tit Parus major)
10. Blue Tit (Parus caeruleus
11. Green Woodpecker (Picus viridis)
12. Black-headed Gull (Larus ridibundus)
13. Rock Dove/ Feral Pigeon (Columba livia)
That's the first week.
Looking a bit more proactively from 1 January.

OK, after a bit of technical advice I have been persuaded that they were not quail. Most likely candidate is Mistle Thrush (Turdus miscivorus).
And I probably won't be able to extend this list.
Bu I am ready for next year.
