...of some kind. I'd actually suggest it's modelled on great horned owl (Americas) given what appears to be a dark rim to the facial disk

Are you sure it’s a real bird, it looks like it could be modelled on a fictitious cartoon figure or Batman or something? Like one of these generic images?
