Its been 30+ years since I've seen any of these but to start off and until someone with more knowledge comes along, and to keep this thread near the top, how about:

5. Cape Rook;
6. one of the Redwing Starlings;
11. Common Waxbill;
14. Green-headed Sunbird;
15. Vitelline Masked Weaver - female/non-breeding male.

I have not checked ranges.

2. Red-billed firefinch
9. Either a firefinch or waxbill sp.
6. Northern ant-eater chat
7. Female/juvenile red-billed firefinch
14. Disagree with Pete's ID of the Sunbird, appears to be an immature male Bronze sunbird.
16. Immature Variable sunbird?

1. Looks like some type of Bulbul – possibly Black-capped? Depends on where it was seen! Probably not possible to get a definitive ID.
2. Juvenile firefinch, probably Red-billed?
3. Lowest hanging fruit, but since it is perched on a roof, I would go for Yellow-billed Kite.
4. I would say Red-fronted Barbet, combo of whitish supercilium and white throat should be diagnostic.
5. Cape crow.
6. Northern Anteater Chat.
7. Again juv firefinch I think...
8. Female cutthroat/female straw-tailed whydah vibes, but I have no real idea, could be a lot of stuff.
9. Crimson-rumped Waxbill.
10. A transitional Bronze Mannikin? Because of the bars above the tail? Or is there something obvious that I am missing?
11. Crimson-rumped Waxbill.

For now this is what I got, I think some of the other pics (12-16) might be identifiable and will come back on them later, let me know what everyone thinks though!
