Plover in Thailand--Krabi (1 Viewer)

Probably one of the Sandplovers. Bird observed in Krabi on 18th November 2022.

I find this a tricky set of photos. But the extensive white forehead and small patches at the side of the breast would suggest Tibetan to me. Structurally I'd also say this is a slightly better fit for schaeferi Tibetan than for Greater - to me, the head and bill look too small for Greater. Schaeferi is the most likely subspecies of Tibetan in Thailand and is slightly larger-billed than atrifrons/pamirensis in Middle East and Africa, which can cause confusion with Greater.
