On of the bird had different plumage than others and was noticeably disturbed by the rest of swallows. Normally barn swallows Hirundo rustica in Poland have white underparts, rufous forehead and throat. There is a broad dark blue breast band beetween throat and underparts. The bird that attracted us had orange underparts. We were wondering if this could be one of the subspecies H. r. transitiva or H. r. savignii ?Thank You in advance. Any comments will be appreciated.
