Porthgwarra and Hayle (Cornwall, UK) pippits I think? (1 Viewer)

Not great photos sorry.

I am thinking that on the fence gate near porthgwarra, this is probably a meadow pippit as Merlin was picking them up a bit further down the coast path but this fella didn't make a noise so was unable to confirm. What is your opinion?

The one on the rock is at Hayle. Perhaps a rock pippit?

I'm starting to get the hang of this now but still learning :)

Hello,

I agree with Aeshna and Ken, but do you have more pictures, especially of the first from Porthgwarra? I got a Rock Pipt vibe from this and the possible dark legs (just guessable?) are a better fit for this species. If this is right, head-pattern with capped appearance and whitish supercilium on an otherwise blend face is slightly better too?
