According to the SSPCA stores like these can apply for a government license for these purposes due to the food-like nature of them. Robins are a protected species, but these licenses allow them to call in pest control. Apparently something to do with food, bird poo and law suits! Whatever happened to animal welfare? They also said these stores are far too big (and the ceiling too high) to catch birds in.I appreciate the advice you have given me, but unfortunately I can do no more, which breaks my heart!</blockquote>
