That bird on the left is very strange looking... so is the bird on the right. For the one on the right, how 'bout Hermit Warbler?

*scratches head* I'll say an Ash-throated Flycatcher and a Verdin...

Ah that's it! I couldn't put my finger on it before, but I'm liking the sound of Verdin.


So Verdin and Black-headed Grosbeak (can't think of anything better without stealing any more ideas...)

Nope... but you guys are getting warmer! The left bird is indeed a Cassin's Kingbird - good job Larry! Hopefully it won't take long to pin down the other one...
