Predated remains, Snipe or Jack Snipe? (1 Viewer)

C'est pas ma faute, je suis anglais.
These remains were found whilst looking for Barn Owl pellets in a farm building (I only found mouldy poo). Maybe some of you more learned in biometrics could cast an opinion as to their defunct owner. I'm assuming some sort of snipe from the bunch of breast feathers and the habitat they were found in, but they could belong to something completely different, any help greatly appreciated.

very much doubt that it's easy! can anyone point me in the direction of good photos of these species with wings spread?
