Help! Suburbia has been invaded by these NYC "sophisticates"! Our feeder is regularly visited by a couple dozen who park themselves on our roof or the neighbor's trees! Even though we switched to a "weight-sensitive" metal feeder, the grackles, etc., bring the seed down to the ground for our uninvited guests. One or two we wouldn't mind.... but a DOZEN!! Hate to stop feeding EVERYBODY, but my neighbors are starting to complain! Any suggestions??? (I thought of using just "black oilers" instead of the regular mixes.. do pigeons eat the oilers also, or just the millet?) HELP!! ... Mark in NY

My friend Randy at www.sweney-kern.com told me to try feeding with milo or safflower seed. Pigeons do not like those seeds.

Here is a link to their products: http://www.sweney-kern.com/index.asp?category=20655
