Hi there,
I am a (UK A-Level) designer looking to create a sustainable product for birds to fit into urban gardens. To appease 'general consumers' I am ideally going to add other features for human use, such as a key hide, light or storage component.
I was wondering if anyone could help me answer some questions (as a relative newbie to all things bird!):
1. What are common problems you experience with current bird products (e.g., feeders, baths, nesting boxes)
2. Do you prefer bird products made from specific materials (e.g., wood, metal, plastic)
3. Do you have problems with squirrels or other animals accessing bird food, and what designs or deterrents work well
4. Is technology used in any of your bird products
Any other points/design ideas or general information would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you 🐦⬛🐦⬛
