I want to go see puffins and sea eagles in North Norway this summer. I found two companies doing "puffin safaris" with good reviews:

Hjem (Bleiksøya)
BirdSafari – attraksjon nr 2 på Nordkapp (Gjesvær)

Which location is better? Travel doesn't matter for me as I live near Oslo, so the flight(s) will be short.

Thanks, I got a lot of information from Tormond at Biotope. I have another question, though. There doesn't seem to be a lot of guided tours on offer in Varanger. I contacted some companies which have webpages about birdwatching tours in Varanger, but they're not replying. I could just book the accomodation and go there birding on my own, but I'm worried that I'm going to miss the good spots despite all the advice Tormond gave me Is it hard to find birds there? I suppose seabirds should be easier, but I'm wondering if I will be able to find e.g. taiga birds on my own, without good local knowledge. I would be there only for a week or so, so I'd like to make the most of it. What do you advise?

FWIW, I found a tour with Birdwatching Norway and it was a blast. Highly recommended.
