Question: Calibration? (1 Viewer)

As far as I know all (?) thermal cameras need to be calibrated to adjust for the light levels and the temperature (?). My Pulsar offers three different calibration modes: Manual calibration, semi-automatic calibration, and automatic calibration. Automatic calibration where the camera decides when to calibrate (usually every few minutes or so) is the default mode.

Which mode do other users of thermal cameras use? I personally feel the automatic calibration often calibrates when the image is still pretty good, and I find it a bit distracting.

Any thoughts / suggestions?

Hermann
