I'm just a little surprised there's not a more authoritative estimate of the total numbers involved in regularly watching birds. It's just an interesting comparison to make with other pastimes..that's all.(Having said that however, I suppose it's equally difficult to come to a realistic estimate on the number of ramblers, soccer players, etc..)Thanks for your contribution Dubh.
