Hi,
Can you identify this bird?
I have an accipiter feeling, but the photographer (not a birder) thinks of a Peregrine Falcon.
Taken today in Arroyo Park, Ventura, CA

Thanks

Neither falco nor accipeter. Buteo. I see a belly band and maybe some backstraps, so I'll agree with red-tail, maybe immature.
