Raptor ID, Norfolk (1 Viewer)

Average Birder
Hello, I saw this bird circling over my house in Norfolk a few minutes ago - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-pB5FaLoR5FR_2XK2PUN_m5ML7YSzyLX/view?usp=sharing and https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-rRoYiVrxvOrchTUtTi8hO1qb9K-wYFZ/view?usp=sharing. Unfortunately, my views weren't the best as it was directly above my house so I was leaning out of the window to see it and it quickly disappeared somewhere behind my house. I initially ID'ed it as a female Sparrowhawk but as I have said before my raptor ID isn't perfect so I would appreciate any IDs from others.

Thanks,
Louis

P.S. - I know the photos aren't the best but can anyone hazard a guess?

yes, especially the head, maybe second cy with a rather longish tail

Having great difficulty reconciling (particularly the first image) with Common Buzzard Tom, for a start length of tail, width of tail base surely too narrow with a corresponding less than bulky body?

I’ve taken many silhouetted shots (unfortunately I’ve deleted those that might have given a comparative), also the head looks narrower on my phone screen than on my computer?

Will try and dig some out, and post at a later date.

Cheers

Ken, I agree first looks very far from Buzzard but second does not, you are an expert on deceptive pics (don’t misunderstand me, I mean educational ones), my conclusion is that 2nd pic shows Buzzard wings and head and unusually long and narrow tail: is it the angle, tne moult, the age or altogether a different species (escape?), I will not put my money on this one

Accepted...as an aside Tom what do you think of these two, needless to say N.E.London last week.

Cheers
