Hi Dave, how far down Pagets Lane can you go and where is the best place to look from?

Regards

John

View from the obvious gateway on the right overlooking the new diggings, this is a regular site for Green sand piper but there is a lot of disturbance at present during the week.Worth a quick look if you are nearby.
Further down Pagets lane lane there are more pools but viewing is restricted and the site is private.

Glossy Ibis reported at Draycote yesterday according to http://onemanandhispond.blogspot.com
Anyone know further details?
Matt

Had an email this evening from someone that said her neighbour (her words "an experienced birder") saw one in Dunns Bay then flew to Toft late afternoon. It was very busy yesterday with a charity run on and lots of fishermen, but on the other hand it was a great day for things moving with the weather. I cannot update my website at the moment but tonight there were 2 Iceland Gulls in the roost an adult and second winter via Tim Marlow and Mark Baynes.

Regards

John

5 Ring ouzels (3 males) at Gredenton Hill todaymid morning. First seen out on the top of the hill feeding but were flushed into the gorse by a crow buzzing over them. It took 35 mins before 1 came out and was 15 mins till they were all out again. good views of all 5 together on the grass and perched out the gorse.
Can be viewed from the road and from a bit closer along the footpath from the sign post in the sheep field. I would advise against trying to view from any closer that - would probably be detrimental to viewing them.
