I think I see some red in his tail, so I guess a red tailed hawk? Please confirm - in Northern NJ, yesterday. Thank you.

I guess itโ€™s a Red-tailed. Do you have any frontal images? Iโ€™d love to see if it is sporting a black feathered belt midway down his front.

Sorry, KC - no frontal image. He was quite far away and did not turn around. And I asked nicely... I really did.
