Redpoll ID Wellington Ontario (1 Viewer)

Saw two Redpoll's in amongst a bunch of American Tree Sparrow's. I'm pretty sure they are Common Redpoll's, but I just wanted to confirm before I discounted Hoary Redpoll's. Thanks in advance.

Yes, Common Redpolls.

Arctic Redpoll is much whiter, and largely without those dark streaks on the flanks and undertail coverts (if streaked at all, then only very finely).

I agree, Common Redpoll. Arctic Redpoll is known as Hoary Redpoll in North American field guides.
