Remove Zeiss Terra ED Pocket eyecups (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Anyone knows if the eyecups on the Zeiss Terra ED Pocket models -8x25 and 10x25- can be removed unscrewing them, like the eyecups on the full size Zeiss models?

I've tried to unscrew them on my Terra ED 8x25, but it's either not possible, or they are just too tight.
I didn't apply too much force, to avoid to break them, in case they are fitted in a different way and it's not possible to unscrew them.

They should just unscrew - but why do you need to remove them ?

They are too short to use the binoculars comfortably without blackouts, hence I have to hold the binoculars floating around my eyes.

I'd like to check if I can fit the eyecups partly unscrewed with an O-ring or something as a spacer, as it has been sometimes advised here.
