Sorry to be a nuisance, but please does anyone know what the difference would be in appearance (if any) between the Brown Creeper (certhia americana) and the Eurasian Treecreeper (certhia familiaris)? Perhaps someone knows a link to an article about this.

Pretty similar birds, if you don't see them next to each other they are hard to identify.
You can try using these:
Eurasian treecreeper - generally a bit darker than the brown creeper and a higher contrast between the colors of it's feathers.
Brown creeper - Fatter look.

Having raised the energy to put a couple of field guides alongside each other... maybe it's not at all obvious. Darker uppertail on brown creeper might be the most-obvious difference. Dunno.
And brown creeper is a migrant over a lot of its range...

Pulled up some audio of Eurasian Treecreeper, and sure enough they sound pretty different compared to my normal Brown Creepers. Sounds seems like a surefire way to ID them.

...they? From my 5 mins with the field guides it looked more like short-toed treecreeper than regular treecreeper.
Brown creeper has certainly been a species in everything that I've seen - since (my) forever.

I dug a little deeper and found out the brown creeper, unlike Eurasian Treecreeper, (to the best of my knowledge), has a rufous rump
