Hi all,

I was at Frampton on Wednesday. With the help of some birders with scopes I connected with the Temmincks Stint - thanks to them. Without any help some amazing shots of spoonbills. Now both a curlew and Baird’s sandpiper would be a lifer for me :)

As I was leaving two gentlemen with scopes were looking at what they had identified as a curlew sandpiper. I took some REALLY POOR long distance shots. Subsequently on this forum I see the Baird’s identified.

Is there any way you can tell what I saw? Thanks (also some shots of the spoonies :) ) Just to be cheeky is the godwit a bar tailed?

Not sure if a first summer (2cy) islandica would be an option too for OP bird? Couple of the scaps look adultish? I won't pretend to be wiser than I am on these though. Just thought the discussion would be interesting :)
